This one-of-a-kind piece combines native color with meso and South American color to express sweetness and joy in silk. Using the arashi shibori technique, it was dyed with úcar pods. It was then overstained with the carmine of cochineal grana using identical woods to preserve that first color.

How to care for it: • Wash in cold water, if necessary with mild neutral soap • Keep from the corners and air dry avoiding the sun (do not tumble dry) • The wrinkled texture is typical of this type of dyeing -if necessary- Iron upside down (see sewing) at silk temperature
